Examples of Writing a Will.

5 important tips of writing a will.

(1)What is a Will, and what can it do for me?

A will is a document, that specifies who will inherit your treasure like ,Bank accounts,
real estates, jewelry, cars, houses, and other properties when you die.
you can leave everything for one person or divide it up in smaller portions according to the way you wish, example your brothers, friends, etc.

A will is simply your wish that you will to be carried out when you are gone.but it is much more of distributing your properties to the listed people or person when you are gone, according to your wish.

(2)What is likely to happen if i don't have a will?
Without a will, there is no assurance that when you are gone, your property will be distributed to people you wanted to be given to.

In Nigeria today, under the laws of intestate succession, the application of the law is dependent,on the nature of the marriage contracted.
when the marriage contracted was statutory, the law on intestate succession would apply, but where it was a customary marriage then then relevance customs of the deceased would apply.

These customs may often not reflect the wishes of the deceased and can create difficulties for his or her successors.

Do I Need A Lawyer To Make A Will?

No,but you will need to invest time, energy, and probably a little more money do it right yourself.
Many families have written legally valid wills by using by using a self-help hand book or a will-writing software program, although errors are more likely with a do-it-yourself will.
On the other hand if the thought of plowing through pages of legalese is too daunting then call a family lawyer or ask for recommendation from family and friends.although the prospect of paying lawyer's fee maybe off-putting,the money buys you expertise and peace of mind.
To save money, think through what you want to include in your will firstly, then contact a lawyer to go over the final details.
